Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) number for Australian Companies Trading Derivatives:

In 2013, the government introduced the ASIC Derivative Transaction (Reporting) Rules, which requires counterparties to OTC derivative transactions to identify the various parties (except individuals) to the transaction. This can be achieved via several methods, of which the LEI number is the preferred identifier. You can find a LEI Registration Agent by searching Google. We strongly suggest that you open an individual trading account to avoid the need to register for a LEI number.
