Scam Warning Notice
Protecting You From Impersonation Scams
Titan Securities Pty Ltd (AFSL 307040) is aware that scammers are impersonating legitimate financial services firms, including those operating under a valid Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). These scams are sophisticated and often use stolen details such as business names, licence numbers, addresses, and logos to appear genuine.
Impersonation scammers often present themselves in a highly professional manner. Their websites, client portals, and new client account forms can appear polished, and in some cases may look more refined than those of legitimate firms. This is because scammers frequently copy genuine material and invest time in improving the presentation to create a false sense of credibility. A professional appearance alone is not an indicator of legitimacy.
We do not use foreign trading platforms, foreign clearing systems, or foreign executing brokers unless they hold their own Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and are not operating under Titan Securities’ licence.
Titan Securities Pty Ltd does not authorise, sponsor, or permit any overseas or foreign-registered entity to rely on its AFSL.
We do not ask clients to send money overseas. All client funds are banked with Australian-regulated financial institutions. Any request to transfer funds offshore in our name, or in the name of a Corporate Authorised Representative or Authorised Representative, is unauthorised and should be treated as a scam.
We want to make it clear:
Titan Securities does not cold-call, direct message, or solicit investments through social media platforms.
If someone contacts you claiming to represent Titan Securities or one of its Corporate Authorised Representatives via Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, or any other social media platform — and offers investment advice, products, or quick returns — this should be treated as a likely scam and independently verified.
